Connor Garvey is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Portland, Maine, with the amiable presence of an entertainer, the lyrical depth of a poet, and the enchantment of a storyteller. Connor leaves audiences uplifted and inspired through a positive message delivered in a way that proves you can be optimistic and self-aware without being boring. First time listeners are often drawn to Connor’s engaging performance style, accomplished musicianship, and memorable melodies. But his lyrics project a depth and sincerity that allow the observant listener to find meaning beyond the catchy hook. “Connor isn’t afraid to tackle some heavy-duty subjects” writes Americana Highways. Outside the musical world, Garvey is a skilled group facilitator. Whether serving at an international peace camp for Israeli and Palestinian youths or leading a group of adult coworkers, he brings people together to find common experience and purpose. But like his music, he tackles these heavy subjects while infusing a strong sense of joy, playfulness and fun.
Appearing with Connor will be Dan Boyden (percussion), Colin Winsor (bass), Eric McDonald (bass) Ben Cosgrove (keys), and Sorcha Cribben-Merrill. This is an all-star cast of players who all appear on Connor’s most recent album Another End of a Year and are all at the top of their game.

Ben CosgroveBen Cosgrove is a traveling composer, pianist, and multi-instrumentalist from New England. He travels constantly all over the country, performing a unique variety of original instrumental music that explores themes of landscape, geography, and environment while straddling a line between folk and classical music. His “electric and exhilarating” live performances are at once dazzling and intimate: music that has been described as “stunning” and “compelling and powerful,” — Red Line Roots has called him “stupidly talented” — all presented with “warmth, humor, honesty, and the easy familiarity of a troubadour.”
